Welcome to Project: WILD C.I.C.

Project: WILD C.I.C. is a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to addressing declining biodiversity and mental illness in young people. We do this by engaging young people with the natural world on their doorstep.

Schools and Group Workshops

We run a range of different activities and workshops for schools and youth groups from wildlife experiences, life science national curriculum lessons and team building activities.

Project: WILD Web Series

We have been working on an edutainment wildlife series all about our secretive and under-represented species, which will soon be ready to release!

Ecological Surveys

Our expert team set up, manage and conduct ecological surveys on key sites to monitor the populations of some of our most threatened wildlife.

Who Are We?

Project: WILD C.I.C is fast becoming a key pioneer in merging ecological conservation, youth education and mental health support into one wildly successful service which is making a lasting difference. By investing every penny into meeting our environmental and community aims, with the generosity of our fantastic team of energetic and enthusiastic volunteers, partner organisations, and benefactors, we are able to facilitate those we work with and their local wild spaces to meet their true potential.

Testimonials

“Every child I have asked has been full of enthusiasm about your visit into their class. Both teachers and pupils have enjoyed the format of the sessions, the verbal and hands on, all of which have extended their knowledge of these animals and how they can help animals all over the world and especially those in their environment. Children have told me it was “10/10”, “A-star (A*)” and “The best thing ever!”, all of which I feel needed to be shared with you.”

Carla Cox
Head Teacher, Wistow Parochial CofE Primary School

“It is just a joy to fund projects like this that make such a lasting difference. The energy and enthusiasm of the staff and volunteers of Project: WILD has made everything such a growing success that we’re now talking to them about “we need more and we want it now”. Brilliant!”

Chris Hailey-Norris
Development Officer, Selby District Eastern CEF

“Absolutely brilliant. Really engaging delivery of sessions and also assemblies. Our students have really benefitted from this. We would love to do more work with you! Thanks so much Nick.”

David Sladen
